EAT No3 Grouping Together!

After a hard working process, EAT No3’s members met up to talk about how they came up with the idea they have in mind to prepare for the project. It’s a long working days as so many plans had been brought up. The crucial subject after all, the message that we want to express through our work is to bring everyone close together, to show the connections among everything in the world. It’s a way of communication that give us different looks of who we are, what we do and how we do. It connects us.

And you’ll be find that connection, soon.

October 14th 2013
1:30PM

Everyone knows that Debate is an integral factor that occurs to us everyday life. In every single talk, every little topic, people always have a need to debate. So what is debate? Debate is contention in argument, in discussion so that a person use as a technique in persuasion based on factual reasons and logical consistency. The outcome of debate must reach to a resolution which bring a content between the affirmatives and the negatives. So this Sunday there was a meeting between EAT N03 with Mrs. Vu My Hanh – the founder of Youth To Debate, talking about Debate and some very creative way to make persuasion. Thanks to Mrs Hanh, EAT N03 has more experiences and builds more skill to express ourselves to the society in the up-coming EAT event.

Media Literacy No3

September 23rd 2013
9:00AM

Meeing with Mrs. Bui Viet Ha – a researcher majored in Journalism in University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi. Questions were being made from the previous meeting: “ How can we read media? What method should we use?” Today we talked about 2 ways of media which are visual expression and text. Mrs. Ha gave out some pieces of work from which we had to re-arrange the way that we understood about them. Again, we were building up critical thinking skill to be capable of working on our own with the conceptual contruction for our exercitation. In media, nothing is without any purpose, but purpose is unuseful without a concept behind it.

Media Literacy EAT No1,2 Meeting Mrs. Bui Viet Ha

August 23rd and 29th , 2013
9:00 AM
Meeing with Mrs. Bui Viet Ha – a researcher majored in Journalism in University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi. EAT No3’s members are more eager to know about the topic named “Media Literacy” through all the information she gives out. We are now get more understanding about Expresionism via Media. It’s all about Free Your Mind and Self-express, comprise Critical Thinking, Reading decoding and then Re-arrange according to our understanding in order to find out a way to express your opinion.
“Don’t judge any piece of art because it brings up information that’s not suitable to the society. Give it a chance to explain itself. Look at a bigger Frame and understand what’s after all of it.” – Mrs. Bui Viet Ha
Questions are:
What’s it talking about?
Which material does the artist use to express his or her way of seeing?
What’s after all of it? What’s the critical thinking here?
Does it worth?

23/8 và 29/8 năm 2013
9:00AM
